Dispute appointment

THE latest appointment of the acting Treasurer for Eastern Highlands was executed without due process and procedure.
The appointment was made using political powers and is null and void.
I support the call by Henganofi MP Robert Atiyafa to revoke the appointment and appoint a new treasurer following due process.
The appointee should be within Finance EHP or from Finance Waigani with vast experience.
I beg the other seven District MPs to back their colleague Atiyafa in the matter for the good of their people and province.
I salute EHP administrator Ipae Maniha for questioning the appointment.
EHP and its eight districts are undertaking vital ongoing projects and requires someone with experience to be in the system to see the successful completion of the projects.
