Delay in paying Tesas components a worry

I BRING to your attention that the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology is yet to pay the Tertiary Education Student Assistance Scheme components for students at the Divine Word University and I believe in other universities as well for this last semester.
Students are being asked to pay.
They were told that they would be reimbursed by the university once the department released the money.
This is a surprise to parents and students who are already in their exams.
It is stressful and disturbing students’ in their exams.
