Bulls pip Gaters in ENB netball

 GRENNHOUSE Gaters pushed Toyota Bulls all the way for a point difference losing 39-40 to Bulls in round four of the East New Britain premier women’s netball season. 

ENB Netball president and games coordinator Dorothy Tobata said that the competition is close a point or two separating the six teams on the ladder. 

The main tussle at the Takubar courts was between Agmark Ravens and Gernic Stars proved an uphill battle for Ravens.With the Ravens winning 33-22. 

Tobata said ENBDC Butterflies flapped high enough defeating the students of Vudal University 41-32. 

Results: B Grade – PNG Power 11 Bulls 6, Kokopo Primary School (KPS) 21 Butterflies 10, Stars 38 Greenhouse 8. 

Schools netball: U13s – KPS 8 Kabaleo Primary 3, Warangoi Primary 5 Kabiu 4; U15s – Kabaleo 9 Kabiu 2, Stars 8 Kabiu 6, Kabaleo 10 KPS 6. 

Tobata said no games are scheduled for this weekend in lieu of the Queen’s birthday weekend and games resume in round five on Saturday June 15.
