Aim high for a better future, speakers’ advice to graduates

 THE graduating students of Salvation Army Secondary School have been urged to aim high for a better future.

School Principal Mary Kalit told the Grade 10 and 12 graduation that if they did not like what they were experiencing, they should change for a better life. 

She thanked parents for their support despite their struggles with fees and congratulated the passing students.

Keynote speaker Salvation Army-PNG territorial commander, Col Neil Webb thanked the principal and staff for their dedication and commitment.  “It is only because of dedicated teachers that a school’s reputation can grow,” he said.

“Whatever your career, reach for the sky,” he said. 

“Don’t settle for the ceiling or the roof. Reach for the skies. Dedicate yourself to being the best you can be and work with all your energy, not just this year or next but the rest of your life to achieve your dreams and you will be amazed at where you might end up.”

Head Boy Nana Loa thanked the teachers and parents for their hard work and support.
