Any point in banning booze?

I AM impressed with the liquor ban in Sothern Highlands which was imposed by the provincial administration.

On the other hand, I see it  as  a  failed provincial law. There was a police officer who was murdered by locals and more unwarranted problems have escalated since then.

The civilians who are taking part in the search at the two check points in Kaugl and Kauapena are not well aware of the search rules and in the manner  of approaching the public.

Even the law enforcing agencies are searched and that  raises a lot of conflict of interest.

Despite the two check points,  people  are  still consuming alcohol.
