A move in the right direction

Letters

IT is a move in the right direction by re-elected former one term North Waghi MP Benjamin Mul.
He was out of politics limelight for some time and now is back setting his focus in trying to develop his constituency human resource – announcing a K2 million tuition school fee assistance for North Waghi tertiary students.
Mul an educator turned politician – his early intervention in prioritising student’s education needs is highly commendable and a move in the right direction.
An educated population will then work hand in hand with leaders using their knowledge and skills and in turn will do something to develop their village, community, district or province as a whole.
Anyway, benefiting North Waghi students make it your business and prove yourself.
You are privileged to benefit from North Waghi Development funds.
In order to reward or to make the district administration and your local MP proud.
You must study extra hard and set a high benchmark against other students around the country.
Remember, state pays a fraction of your school fees, your parents pay a fraction and now your MP stepping in with the remaining balance.
