Accident waiting to happen at 6-Mile

Letters, Normal

IT is only a matter of time before a nasty accident takes place along Saraga Street, 6-Mile.
I have seen several near misses everyday.
An accident is waiting to happen and I am compelled to alert the concerned authorities.
In the past, animals were run over by these trucks.
Sooner or later, humans will join the statistics.
This street has become a racing track as drivers of these massive trucks race up and down with no regard for human life.
On one side of the street, we have the 6-Mile market where hundreds of people do their marketing, and on directly opposite, we have a church and a school.
As a temporary measure, can the owners of these trucks please speak to the drivers and tell them to slow down when approaching this particular area?
My suggestion to the authorities is to set up a couple of speed bumps to slow these crazy drivers down as a permanent measure.
