Address delays with teachers’ benefits

I WRITE in reference to yesterday’s front page “Teachers in strife”.
I am an officer with similar issues with concerns regarding unpaid salaries, increments, higher duty allowances and other entitlements which have been deliberately ignored by officers who are supposed to address our issues.
These officers at the Eastern Highlands education division are so ignorant.
I lodged my query at the salary section, but the officer who served me did nothing.
I thought maybe I didn’t pay him some money to fast-track my query.
I called but he never answered.
The education directors need to monitor such issues.
It seems there is a loophole in the system that needs to be addressed.
