THE Seventh-day Adventist Youth Ministry recently held a Sabbath installation programme for its Bisiatabu district at the Mesime Adventist church outside Port Moresby.
Central Papua Conference (CPC) youth director Patsor Joe Kauga reminded the candidates that they were uniformed soldiers adorned with the honour and dignity to serve Jesus and protect the Word of God.
“God has equipped you with the skills and wisdom based on the teachings of John 27:7 and John 19:25,” Pr Kauga said. He urged the young people to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
“From induction to investiture, you and the youth ministry have been with Jesus through the church, home and camp,” Pr Kauga said.
“You have the vision, mission and message of salvation to the people.
“Many people were blurry and blind, but you have a task and story to tell.
“God has inspired and empowered you to focus on the people,” he said. The investiture programme was witnessed by CPC district director Pr Jack Tale, two adventure directors from the Manamiro church, eight adventurers, nine pathfinders with two pathfinders’ guides, and three pathfinders directors.
