Ahi festival winds down sports competitions

THE Ahi Festival’s games  reached their finals yesterday with only a few games to be played before the winners are declared.
In rugby touch, Butibam’s men and women made the finals against Kamkumung and Yanga respectively.
The Butibam men scored a thrilling 3-1 win while Yanga edged Butibam 4-3 to the take the touch rugby title in the women’s division.
In basketball, where the women opted for netball instead of their traditional spot, there was only a men’s division in which Yanga will go up against Hengali for the first placing.
Butibam women are comfortably awaiting the volleyball grand final after winning all their games.
In the men’s division Butibam will play Hengali for the top spot.
