Ahioma pitch in finals mode

Ahioma Cricket Association’s preliminary and semi finals T20 series were completed over the weekend with the makeup of the grand finalists all confirmed and set for this Saturday 22nd February 2014.
In the men’s division, new comers Falcons booked the first grand final spot by thrashing last year’s finalists, United by 78 runs in the preliminary final.
Philip Samuel belted 90 off 51 balls to setup the victory for the Falcons. United later made amends to narrowly defeat Nahilulu to setup a re-match with Falcons this Saturday.
In the women’s division current champions, Amoiha booked the second grand final spot with a low scoring victory over Nahilulu. The win sees them take on favorites Mix-mates on Saturday.
