Airline suffering

Letters

SO the self-elected chief executive officer (CEO) of the Papua New Guinea airline industry is now revealing truths and mistruths about the impact Covid-19 on the company.
Is this not from the same person who was trying to purchase another airline in order to save his own?
Why can’t mister CEO tell us how many people you have made redundant and how much this is costing our airline?
The states cashiers, 17 engineers and eight flight attendants have been made redundant so why trying to hide the dismal financial state?
Why is mister CEO trying to deflect his own airlines poor management through making misleading and possibly defaming statements about others in the industry?
Perhaps this is all just a ploy to keep his expat salary and conditions in place at the cost of PNG workers.
