Aitsi named as KTF board director

PETER Aitsi has been appointed a board director of the Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF).
Aitsi has spent more than 30 years in corporate leadership roles and directorships, including most recently group chief executive officer of Credit Corporation PNG and country manager of Newcrest Mining.
His private sector experience is strengthened by his involvement in community organisations such as Transparency International, of which he is the current chairman, Media Council of PNG, City Mission and the Badili Club of PNG.
He also had some exposure to KTF working with chairman Ian Kemish and chief executive officer Genevieve Nelson.
“I am looking forward to assisting in strengthening the partnering approach KTF uses in the delivery of its community projects and also offering mentoring to the growing number of Archer leadership award alumni,” Aitsi said.
