KUMUL Wellington Albert (pictured) has been named to come off the bench in the Penrith Panthers under 20 trial match against West Tigers this weekend.

The Panthers club website noted him as a player to watch, his first match in the Panthers jersey.

“Panthers’ newest recruit Wellington Albert will definitely be one to watch,” it said. “The towering 19 year old has been brutal in attack on training days, and won’t disappoint.”

Albert will be part of what is a new look for the Panthers National Youth Cup this week. “Coach Trent Barrett will be using these trial games to pair up speedy wing combinations and a good halves set.” Albert, who just joined his new club last month, starts his two-year contract with the NRL club with this trial.
