NO team competing in the National Soccer League should be underestimated, says Port Moresby United assistant coach Clement Cafu Anisan.
Coming off a 2-1 win over the Eastern Stars last weekend, the National Capital District Commission-sponsored side will be looking to remain in the winners’ circle when they take on Star Mountain at the Sir John Guise Stadium tomorrow.
Anisan said they would not underestimate their opponents and would use every game as a building block.
Anisan said his players performed well in terms of structure and they had been working on it throughout the week.
“Last week’s structure was good, the boys did okay and we just have to continue with that,” Anisan said.
“Nothing new and fancy.
“If we play according to our structure then our defence and attack won’t be a problem.
“In terms of combinations, I think the players are doing fine.
“The team spirit is building and that’s what we want to see early in the competition.”
Anisan said captain Jonathan Murray and his deputy Junior Sasu were leading the side at training.
“Both captains have been very responsible,” he said.
