THE highway from Kim-be town to Hoskins needs urgent maintenance.

I know that NBPOL maintain the roads by fixing potholes but now the road is getting worse.

The roads need urgent maintenance or to be resealed. PMV buses that normally use that route are being affected by the potholes which slow them down and damage the vehicles.

Peter O’Neill promised to upgrade it to a four-lane road from the town to Buluma.

The question is when will the actual work start?

I urge Governor Sasindran Muthuvel to look into it and allocate funds to responsible and quality  contractors or NBPOL contractors.
