Alternate route to ease traffic congestion

I WRITE to air my view on the current road construction that is taking place along the Erima, 8-Mile and 9-Mile roads.

Firstly, I would like to direct my question to the qualified engineers who are seen on the construction site every morning.

Is it of common sense that once a road is under construction, there has to be an alternate route or bypass that will maintain the flow of traffic and the mass population?

It is frustrating to be stuck in traffic for two to three hours since the construction started.

Traffic has just gone mad and it is sad to see employees of public and private sectors walking all the way from 9-Mile to Erima to be on time for work or whatever business and administration they need to meet.

I  call on the NCDC governor to intervene and direct the management of the construction company to ease the traffic congestion that is getting worse by the day.

With the school year resuming, it will affect a lot of students travelling to and fro.

The construction company current’s construction is deplorable and questionable.
