ANZ renovates Lae unit

AUSTRALIA and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) customers in Lae will enjoy a refurbished local branch by the end of this month.
The newly-renovated unit was opened yesterday by ANZ chief executive officer for Pacific Michael Rowland.
In a remark, Rowland said: “ANZ’s investment in the refurbished Lae city branch reflects our confidence in the growth happening in PNG’s northern region which is being fuelled by trade with Asia.
The breadth of ANZ’s banking network and partnerships in Asia-Pacific makes it possible for our local PNG team to help customers explore new opportunities, particularly in Asia as the connections between the Pacific and Asia continue to grow.”
ANZ is celebrating its 100th year of business in the country.
