Apologise to Sir Michael

Letters

OVER the last 10 years, MPs have frequently visited the Waigani National and Supreme Courts to settle political disputes.
This has contributed to destroying the country’s international standing and domestic affairs.
The current and former prime ministers and opposition leaders should be blamed for not controlling the country’s political affairs.
This started when Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare was illegally removed from office.
The overthrowing of Sir Michael’s government may have been a political curse for this country.
Opposition Leader Belden Namah and former prime minister Peter O’Neill should publically apologise to Sir Michael and Papua New Guinea for illegally overthrowing a legitimate government.
Prime Minister James Marape and Namah should put aside their political differences and seek peace whilst Sir Michael, O’Neill and former Chief Justice Sir Salamo Injia are still around before the next election.
