Applications due soon

THE Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) says the submissions of applications for the Link PNG proposal for part acquisition in PNG Air is due tomorrow.
Commissioner and chief executive Paulus Ain said submissions for the proposal “is open to as many people and entities as possible”.
“ICCC would like as many people as possible to participate in this process because the ICCC process in not only assessing this application but all applications that come before ICCC for any merger and acquisition,” he said.
“It should be a transparent process to ensure that all key stakeholders are given the opportunity to participate by making submissions and comments in all the issues that ICCC as the regulator raise for any submissions for any merger and acquisition.
“The application before us is very important to our people and the economy at large.
