ACTIVITIES and performances at the 11th Festival of Pacific Arts have been going well despite some hiccups faced by several delegations in the past week. According to festival officer from the PNG contingent, David Taim, it is understood that other countries have also expressed dissatisfaction in terms of accommodation and shortage of water supply which is the main infrastructural  problem faced in Solomon Islands.“Solomon Islands being a smaller country compared to PNG, in terms of preparation, were not to our expectations but the Solomon Islands government together with other heads of delegations from the Pacific Islands have sorted this problem out,” he said. In terms of participation, the four main groups from Toare Mask dance group from Gulf province, Sinsari dance group of East Sepik, students from Eastern Highlands and the Azimbah Band, and also the Tanir cultural dance group from Kavieng have put on outstanding performances in the past week.
