Association considers Digicel Cup

PEOPLE in the eastern end of Southern Highlands are happy to support a future bid to enter a second team in the Digicel Cup competition.
Eastern End Rugby League Association chairman Thomas Undupie said they were appealing to their elected leaders, elites and communities to assist their board that was given the green light by the PNGNRL administrator to bid for the Digicel Cup competition.
Undupie said the association was fully prepared and were aware of all the criteria and requirements set by the PNGNRL.
He said the policy of the inter-city competition was to have one team but there had been a lot of changes.
