Attitude problem

Letters

I BELIEVE banning of things that have become part of our livelihoods is not the answer to the problems at hand.
Plastic bags, betel nut, alcohol, and whatever else that we think are causing problems for us in the society are not the issue.
These are things we use.
I believe the real issue here is attitude.
Plastic bags serve their purpose well and they really do.
Betel nut chewing is our culture.
The point I want to make here is that our people need to be directed to do the right thing: Minding our own rubbish.
There is no degree or seminar required to tell someone to do the right thing.
Attitude problem is killing our country, starting with our elected leaders in all levels and sectors.
