Audit for Jiwaka development funds

Letters

JIWAKA is still left idle with nothing to show for in terms of development even though it received its share of annual development budget allocations over the 10 years since its birth as a breakaway province.
The people deserve services that people in other provinces are accessing and enjoying.
Our country’s law enforcement agencies and other offices who keep track of the conduct of leaders and public office holders must act swiftly and investigate the use of Jiwaka’s public monies.
For Jiwaka to remain in its same status after 10 years as a province is a result of misappropriation of its development funds and grants.
Why is the Ombudsman Commission and other relevant law enforcement agencies not doing anything when the alarm is raised.
Please investigate and find out the truth about the use of Jiwaka development funds for the last 10 years. The poor Jimi people, looking forward to government developments since the birth of their province, are still hoping and forever in the dream world.
Likewise, for the Kambia and Waghi people.
Feasibility studies are not development; hire car bills are not development; hotel bills are not development, awarding contracts to family and cronies non-reputable companies with no job being done is criminal in nature and corruption at the highest level.
