Aussie cop commended

WE would like to thank this policeman.
A small girl was hit about a week ago on the freeway by a hit –and-run driver just before Caterpillar at Hohola 4.
She was lying unconscious with a fractured skull on the road with traffic swerving to whizz past her.
An expat policeman (name unknown) driving a large four-wheel drive police vehicle on the other side of the road, saw what was happening and made a U-turn.
He drove across the median strip, and then blocked the road with his blue lights flashing.
A medical person then checked the girl, who fortunately had no further injuries.
The policeman then took K30 out of his own pocket and paid a driver to take the victim to hospital, where she is currently recovering in the head trauma ward.
Thank you, whoever you are.
You probably saved this child’s life.
