Australian appointed Pac Re CEO

AUSTRALIAN Victoria Clifford has been appointed Pacific Re Limited (Pac Re)’s new chief executive officer (CEO).
From North Sydney, Victoria brings more than 20 years of industry experience into Pac Re.
She had worked for a number of insurance and reinsurance companies, and underwriting agencies in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Victoria is a Fellow of both the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance (Anziif) and Finance and the Financial Services Institute of Australia (Finsia).
She has a bachelor of agricultural economics; a graduate diploma of applied finance and investment from Finsia, and an executive certificate in insurance from Anziif.
Her passion for agriculture and her work in the technical and specialised agricultural segment of the various markets had enabled her develop a strong market and leadership profile among various insurers, brokers and reinsurers.
Her industry experience includes working with two of Australia’s leading reinsurers in Australia, New Zealand and PNG.
With the appointment, the installation of the full board and the strong financial support from the Motor Vehicles Insurance Limited, Pac Re is well positioned to realise its full potential in the reinsurance business.
