Authorities need to act

Letters

I SUPPORT the complaint headlined ‘Customer feeling cheated’ published in The National on Jan 28.
It’s true that the citizens of this country have been allegedly robbed on a daily basis.
Many well educated Papua New Guineans see this happening in front of their noses but turn a blind eye.
State bodies such as the National Information and Communications Technology Authority (Nicta), Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) and Labour Department need to look into Digicel’s marketing and products services.

  • In addition to what “a concerned citizen is saying there are two separate schemes 16222 and 16164 selling credits on the mobile network. Can the company rectify this problem?
