THE PNG Forest Authority is prioritsing the welfare of its staff under the National Forest Service (NFS), says managing director John Mosoro.
He revealed this when the Bank South Pacific’s (BSP) Life Insurance team visited the authority’s head office to talk to senior officers about the products of Life Insurance and Wantok Delite.
Mosoro said the prioritising of staff welfare followed the completion of staff recruitment as part of the organisation’s restructure.
“The ball is now in our court. he said.
“We’ll meet and discuss all these issues.
“It is top of the range in terms of life insurance policy.
“In terms of saving, Wantok Delite seems to be a great investment for our children and spouses.
“So I encourage us all to seriously consider this product also.”
Mosoro said the corporate plan (2021-2030) was approved by Prime Minister James Marape.
The National Forest Board recently approved a revised restructure.
“We must work together to improve our staff welfare,” Mosoro said.
Forest Minister Salio Waipo invited the BSP Life Insurance team to PNGFA because of the need to prioritise staff welfare.
Meanwhile, the NFS is preparing a submission for the board regarding life insurance for staff.
