Bad light stops play

 THE Port Moresby Men’s Softball League elimination final between LBC Gazelle and Bears was called off because of fading light at the Bisini softball diamond on Sunday.

Bears were leading in the sixth inning at the time but after a count back to the fifth inning, the teams were locked at 2-2 so a rematch is required standard rules.        

The teams will now play again on Saturday to see who meets Brown Eagles.

The Eagles lost to United Brothers 7-9 in the qualifying finals. 

In the B grade first semi-final, Brown Eagles advanced to meet Defence by beating Stingers 12-8.
