Baki says security is everyone’s responsibility

POLICE Commissioner Gari Baki has called on the public to make security their responsibility during the Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup next month.
He said it was the first time for PNG to host such an international sporting event and the country’s image would be reflected through how people supported the tournament. “Security belongs to everybody and it’s everyone’s responsibility. We are the only people that can stand up to the world and tell them that PNG is a united independent country. We must ensure that every one of us takes ownership of security during the tournament,” Baki said.
