Ban disgraced MPs from running for office

I READ with great excitement to see our MPs referred to the leadership tribunal with issues related to misuse of public funds, abuse of office and other issues associated with public offices.
Can the Government, through the appropriate department and the responsible minister, come up with a law to ban guilty MPs from running for public office?
They have proved themselves to be irresponsible in their offices.
They have disrespected the office they are occupying.
They have let the people down as well.
Enough is enough.
