BANK South Pacific Ltd (BSP) Financial Group’s corporate sponsorship manager Amelia Minnopu says the bank recognises Papua New Guinea’s environmental issue and is committed to assist in conserving it.
Minnopu, during the launching of the BSP Trash to Treasure Sculpture Festival at the Port Moresby Nature Park on Friday, said BSP was committed to assist initiatives that contribute towards reducing negative impact and enhance measures taken to conserve the environment.
“We at BSP Financial Group are pleased to reaffirm our support to Port Moresby Nature Park as the only internationally recognised wildlife park in the country,” she added.
The park’s interim chief executive officer Kelsey Engle said the treasure festival would not have been possible without everyone’s combined support.
“It’s a tough challenge to get everyone in on the act of reduce, reuse and recycling but developing better choices and habits just might be influential enough to drive the message.
