Barras name squad for tour

THE national men’s cricket team named a 16-man squad on Friday that would be taking part in three separate series across 50-over and Twenty-20 formats.
The Barramundis arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), last Wednesday and had settled in at Al Habtoor Polo Resort Hotel with head coach Carl Sandri after a three-week training camp at Gold Coast Performance Centre in Runaway Bay.
Their tour begins tomorrow with the Barramundis facing the hosts in their World Cup League Two 50-over match.
On Wednesday, the Barramundis will face Nepal at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, before another match against UAE at Dubai International Stadium on Saturday.
Sandri’s men will play another 50-over match against Nepal on March 22 before leaving for Kathmandu for their Nepal tour.
