Be careful with women

Letters

THIS a warning to professionals, especially men in their respective fields, to tread carefully when engaging in any relationship with women for the sake of ego stroking or based on a sense of entitlement.
The recent court case of Australian rugby league superstar Jarryd Hayne in which he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman, should send a clear picture of the above statement regarding narcissistic professional men engaging with women only off their status because there is now a trend of scorned women getting payback when things don’t go their way.
If you read into the Hayne case, it is a clear example of a woman seeking the typical “Maid in Manhattan” storyline and when things don’t turn out as they expect, they run to the courts knowing very well that the justice system does not take abuse on women lightly, let alone alleged perpetrators of high status.
In recent years, there has been cases in the courts in Port Moresby where highly educated professional men who engage in relationships with women of lower status are then charged by those women for any sexual misdemeanour after not getting their way or feeling a sense of being used.
This is a call to the professional men of PNG to be faithful to your wives and girlfriends.
Do not engage in any extra relations because scorned women today who are seeking their 15 minutes of fame are coming out everywhere just to drag you down knowing that the law is on their side.

  • Very good, educated men should use their education for good use and beneficial to society and not causing problem in the society. Expose them so others will learn from their attitudes and habits.
