bemobile hits new areas

HIRITANO Highway villagers from as far as Sepoe in the Gulf and Kivori and Waima in Central West can now communicate easily with friends and relatives via the bemobile network.
The telco has just installed the 45m tower at Hauramiri in Waima.
A bemobile roadshow team visited the area last week to sell handsets, top-up cards and also promoted cell phone accessory items.
Member for Kairuku- Hiri Paru Aihi made a test call last Friday to friends as far as Tubusereia and Kupiano along the Magi highway.
He said he was extremely pleased with the bemobile’s network and thanked the company for bringing cell phone communication within his people’s reach.
bemobile’s technical team would now concentrate on building treasury sites after the completion of three more towers in phase 1 of the telco’s programme.
These last three towers would all be erected in designated areas in the Eastern Highlands.
