Better road needed

Letters

THE current situation with the Angoram-to-Wewak road is beyond definition.
PMV trucks travelling to Wewak from Angoram all get bogged along the way.
The road condition needs to be addressed at the East Sepik provincial assembly.
The Angoram MP is in court with rival candidates from the 2017 general election.
Should this be an ongoing problem, service delivery in Angoram will be far back compared with colonial times. This is the road in focus by the retired Chief Sir Michael Somare over the past 45 years.
Yet, we are feeling the pain of pushing huge PMV trucks, digging unwanted drains, carrying stones to patch holes and other very hard labour.
If the Government can empathise with us, we need a better road.
