Beu wants task force team in Oro

FORMER Sohe MP David Beu has reiterated his call for the Sweep Task Force team headed by Simon Koim to visit the province.
Beu said Northern warranted such a visit to determine where all the funds allocated for development had been spent.
He said he would be the first person to welcome the Sweep team if it ever visited the province.
He said its terms of reference should cover Cyclone Guba disaster funds.
Beu said he was alarmed at seeing public servants, politicians at local level and many people from other provinces living in Popondetta and who frequented the provincial treasury office for their claims.
He questioned the kind of service provided to the people.
He said only investigation would reveal the truth as some were genuine service providers, while many would be held accountable for their actions.
