Bmobile gives away K120,000 in prizes

THREE weeks into bmobile’s Bikpla Belhat Krismas promotion and, so far, K120,000 has been given away in cash prizes, according to the company.
The company said entries were received since the promotion’s launch on Nov 23.
Daily cash prizes of K5,000 and weekly cash prizes of K10,000 had been awarded to winners in Port Moresby, Lae, Madang, Enga, Bougainville and Kiunga.
With a total cash prize pool of K240,000, that leaves K120,000 more to be given away.
Winner Morris Nake, a Department of Education staff, visited the bmobile head office in Waigani last week to claim his daily cash prize of K5,000.
Nake, based in Bougainville, was about to fly to Port Moresby when he received a call from bmobile telling him he had won K5,000.
He said he was hesitant and did not want to get his hopes up in case it was a scam.
As soon as his flight landed in Port Moresby, he made his way to the bmobile head office and was thrilled to claim his K5,000.
Nake said the money was a timely blessing as his daughter was preparing to start university next year and the money would go to helping her tuition fee.
