THE Comrade Trustee Services Ltd has partnered bmobile to communicate with more than 1000 retired soldiers about their pensions.
About 2000 retired members of the Defence Force can communicate efficiently with the trustee services for their pension benefits with the new programme where all members will be given mobile phones to communicate, and will also be accessing Post Offices to send their documents to claim benefits.
Chief executive John Auna said the board of trustees and management had partnered Post PNG Ltd and bmoblie-Vodafone to provide a convenient service for Defence Force retirement benefits for its members.
About 300 retired soldiers and beneficiaries of Defence pensioners in Morobe received free phones and were registered with a bmobile sim.
Auna said board and senior management were going around centres for first the time to see and hear from pensioners.
