BMOBILE-Vodafone will today begin an advertisement awareness campaign to inform the public about its network, the company says.

Chief marketing officer Parag Panjwani announced that yesterday, saying the campaign would be underpinned by the “friendlier network” – theme to impress people of the deals it offers like low call rates, free of charge customer service and the wider coverage of bmobile-Vodafone in the country.

“Our journey of arriving at a communication message started with finding what is common between what the people of Papua New Guinea want from their mobile phone service provider and what is core of our brand,” Panjwani said.

“We realised that it was trust. People of Papua New Guinea want to trust their mobile service provide and wants interrupted, affordable, transparent and superior quality service.

“We believe we can be trusted with all of the above.”

Panjwani said in order to carry out the advertisement, the company had established its services on the ground by building towers and improving its services so that people could appreciate what was stressed in the advertising campaign.

He said the campaign would be done throughout the country so that people could interact with agents on a one-on-one basis.

Panjwani said the campaign would run for three months on radio, newspapers and emphasis would be placed on digital mode of communication.

“At this stage we are looking at it as a three months campaign where we will start with friendlier network, and later begin with other products,” he said.
