MOTHER’S Day is one the biggest trading periods for Brian Bell Group, says chief executive officer Cameron Mackellar.
“Mother’s Day for us is easily one of the most exciting programmes in our calendar every year as it’s all about celebrating what mums do for families every day all around the country,” he said.
“We love to make it more special with great discounts and value offers on nearly everything in our stores.
“This year we invested more heavily than last year and have certainly geared up for it.
“We sourced more unique product lines and gifting items for mums.
“We invested more in marketing with a massive 32 page catalogue full of bargains for every shopper. We’ve promoted Mother’s Day for more than two weeks across all media to ensure everyone gets the message and opportunity to buy something special for their mum.
“Even if you don’t buy from us, we encourage everyone to treat their mum to a special day.
“Make her breakfast, clean the house for her, treat her to an outing and show her how much she means to you.
“But above all, ensure she feels special and loved on Mother’s Day (if not every day).”
