Brian Bell Homecentres is running a ‘double discount’ promotion this month.
Brand ambassador Leon Gawi said there was an agreement for Brian Bell to give a 15 per cent discount to members of the superannuation companies Nasfund and Nambawan Super.
He said that this month Brian Bell was doubling that discount to 30 per cent, and to claim the discount, members or members of their family, have to present their superannution membership card.
“This is an added bonus to customers,” Gawi said.
“The discount is applied to all products in the shops except those items that are already on clearance special, because it’s already on discount.”
Gawi said they started last year as a trial and saw that the sales and reaction from customers were good.
“Even if you’re not a Nasfund or Nambawan Super member but a family member, you can use their card to get that discount,” Gawi said,
He said response from customers had been good.
“A lot of customers wait for double discount because they know they can get items for 30 per cent off,” Gawi said.
“These are items like couches, dining sets, TVs and sound systems.
“It makes it a lot more affordable.
“Customers are eager.”
Customer Lorraine Pondo said it was an awesome initiative for great savings at an opportune time like this.
Gawi said items like storage containers, electrical appliances and gas stoves were usually sold out quickly.
He said the promotion applied to all the Brian Bell Homecentres stores in Port Moresby, Lae, Madang, Kokopo, Goroka and Mt Hagen.
