No official report
MOROBE election manager Simon Soheke says he is yet to get a full report on the number of candidates contesting the ward councillor’s seats. The 57 wards under 33 local level governments in Morobe completed nominations last week with only a network problem between some LLGs and the provincial headquarters.

Challenge given
A CANDIDATE for a ward councillor’s in Morobe has called on candidates to make their plans and policies clear to the people. Longtime resident of Peter Block in Kamkumung, Philip Demen, originally from East Sepik, said many candidates had their own hidden agendas when contesting LLG elections. Demen is a candidate for ward 16 in the Ahi LLG of Nawaeb.
