Customers warned
AIR Niugini has advised travellers not to buy or re-sell special Independence Day flash sale tickets that were selling for K44. The airline company issued the notice last week following reports that some of the heavily-discounted tickets were being sold at higher prices. Air Niugini appealed to the public not to purchase those tickets as they were not transferable as per the conditions of the fare, and had already been cancelled. “Passengers holding onto such tickets will be denied boarding.”

Inclusion wanted
COOPERATIVE society group executives in Morobe have urged the provincial government to include them in the 2020 provincial budget allocation and onwards to drive rural entrepreneurs in cash crop and fishery activities. The executives also urged the provincial government to highlight where cooperative groups fell within three Morobe government business-arms Kumgie Holdings Ltd, Morobe Resources Holdings and Morobe Sustainable Investment to enable them to seek financial assistance. The executives included Sai Business Group (SBG) Inc chairman Menos Ackrish, Wabunawa Holdings Ltd (WHL) board chairman Nowarowe Yambat.
