Media freedom day
JOURNALISM students at the University of PNG (UPNG) had a “mufty day” last Wednesday to commemorate World Media Freedom Day. UPNG Journalism Students Society (JSS) president Melyne Baroi said the day was supposed to be held on May 3, to coincide with World Media Freedom Day but it was deferred due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
