A MAN facing two counts of forgery, two counts of uttering false documents and two counts of stealing, will reappear in court on Sept 4 for mention. Committal Court Magistrate Tracy Ganaii, in Waigani, directed the court clerks to inform the lawyer representing former Madang MP Alois Kingsley of the date. Police Prosecutor Sgt Joseph Sangam told court that he would also inform Kingsley of the date. Kingsley, 51, of Yabob village in Madang, was alleged to have, between Jan 1, 1996, and Dec 31, 1997, forged documents to change the directorship and share-holding of two companies. It was alleged that he operated the Kingstar security company in Port Moresby between 1994 and 1997.

Court acquits woman

Waigani Committal Court Magistrate Tracy Ganaii dismissed the case against Tracy Valahu, 49, of Tubuserea village, Central, after Police Prosecutor Chief Sgt Polon Koniu said the complainant was unable to provide any evidence. Her bail money of K1,000 was refunded.
