New ablution block
Bank South Pacific’s branch in Enga has donated a new ablution block with sink and a 9,000L Tuffa tank to Yaibos Health Centre in the Wapenamanda electorate to help fight the Covid-19. Wabag branch manager Thomas Tembil said this part of the bank was to help the people and health facilities.

Community support
The Filipino community in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands, has supported health service in the province through donation of 100 face shields. Acting director for population health Dannex Kupamu thanked the Filipino community, saying the shields would be used by health staff when attending to patients.

Access to service
People in East New Britain can now access St John Ambulance service following the opening of the new ambulance station at Butuwin on Monday. St John commissioner Matt Cannon said the Butuwin station had five officers who worked on a rotating roster to provide 24hr service.

Court adjourns case
A MAN charged with raping a minor had his case adjourned by the Central Committal Court on Tuesday. Magistrate Laura Kuvi read the charge to Moses Kapa, 32, of Gavuone village in Abau, Central, and adjourned his case to Dec 17.

Money for library
The Papua New Guinea University of Natural Resources and Environment says it has used K300,000 given by Prime Minister James Marape earlier this year to improve library services and infrastructure.
