Awareness for polls
NEW Ireland Police Commander Chief Inspector Felix Nebanat says police are conducting awareness on the 2022 general election. They started last week in Kavieng and will move to Namatanai next week.

‘Guns show strength’
POLICE in Chimbu have completed an awareness in the Kerowagi district and plan to move into other districts as well. Provincial Police Commander Superintendent David Warap said people in the Highlands used guns especially during the elections to show authority and strength over others.

Poll fever picks up
POLICE in the Milne Bay say the general election preparations in the capital Alotau has picked up with an increase in people movement. Provincial Police Commander Superintendent Peter Bakri said a police team from Port Moresby was in Milne Bay to support local police in providing security.
