Emphasis welcomed
THE Farmers and Settlers Association Inc has welcomed the Government’s emphasis on the agriculture sector. Association president Wilson Thompson said they represented rural businesses, agriculture and livestock producers, food processors and exporters and noted the Government’s focus on agriculture and renewable resources with the creation of industry specific ministries out of the former agriculture and livestock ministry.

Online course for 45
Carbon Trade Company NIHT Incorporated and its subsidiary company New Ireland Holdings Ltd based in Kokopo, East New Britain ran an online course for 45 employees. Chief executive officer Esrom Toligur Junior said the training was based on the reducing emission deforestation degradation project.
