PARELAS Brothers from Vabukori and E-Street Magpies were crowned the kings and queens of the inaugural International Training Institute Easter Cup volleyball tournament at the Taurama Leisure Centre in Port Moresby.
ITI, one of the leading private institutions in PNG, had sponsored the event with K10,000.
Parela and E-Street pocketed K3,500 as the first prize while Snipers and TAVA Tags from Taikone settled for K1,000 each as runners-up.
The initiative brought by ITI managing director Kumaran Sentheyval paid off well for the youth who had nothing to do over long Easter weekend.
The event  attracted 20 teams who competed over the three days.
There were also individual awards which saw Kala Kila taking out the the setter of the tournament while the best defender went Tau Muri of Tasi and Champ Kasai was the best hitter of the tournament in the men’s division.
